SOPHIA CHEW

LIGHTS... CAMERA...

Hello there!
My name is Sophia Chew. Visual storytelling consumes me 24/7. Allow me to share my story.
I'm from Seattle, Washington. Home of 10 Things I Hate About You, Grey's Anatomy, and my love for capturing moments. As the middle child in a set of triplets, I understood the importance of feeling seen from a young age.
I absorbed every creative outlet I could. I'm a published photographer, filmmaker, and content creator with an emphasis on uplifting Asian voices. I've worked with companies like Instagram and META, and I've done partnerships with Marvel Studios, Warner Brothers, and UNICEF, to name a few.

ACTION!

As an Asian American girl who grew up around mostly western media, it was hard to find stories I could relate to. My identity struggles in a non-diverse community sparked my thirst for story telling. When half of my high school years were taken by a pandemic, I couldn't sit still. I taught myself how to take self portraits, write articles for major media outlets, and create compelling videos. By freshman year I was Adobe Photoshop certified and had Disney Channel star Olivia Holt calling me "a compassionate and driven young woman".
